Tricks to Send Larger Files via E-Mail

E-mails have really developed over time, and today, emails are the world’s second most widely used service for contacting others after cell phones. You can do a lot of things with email.  Rather than just simply sending, you can do things such as sending images, videos, documents, and more. Often times, a problem may arise where you are unable to send an attachment which is large since your mail service providers do not allow you to send large files. Don’t worry; DomsTechblog is here for the rescue. We have found two mainstream methods you could use to solve this problem. So let’s start.

File Sharing Servers and Websites:

This is the most widely used method. You might know of services like RapidShare, RapidFire , FileTube and sites like that. These sites are file sharing services. However, today, they are the best place for software, songs, and other stuff. So, to start, you need to make an account at any of these websites. Now, you can simply browse and upload the desired file you want to send via email. Generally, this file can be however large. Some websites do have a restriction of around 1GB or so. When you have uploaded the file, you need to grab the download link of that file from your account. Now, you can send that link along via email. The person at the other end can simply click on the link and then download the file.

Using Yahoo Services:

Many email service providers don’t allow you to send files larger than 25B or even 10 MB. However, another option is to use Yahoo to send your large files.  Simply go to Yahoo mail, and make an account there. Now, on the left panel of your screen, click on the “Attach larger Files” link which is under the “Applications” option. Next, simply browse to the large file and upload it. During this process you will be required to log in again. After the upload completes, you are ready to send the large file.

So these were two short tricks that you could send large files over the internet via email even if your email service provider doesn’t allow you to do so. I hope it helped. 🙂
